HTML, CSS, and JavaScript in practice

Sweet 17 is an interactive birthday celebration website with a personalized visual experience, engaging layouts, and a modern web interface. HTML, CSS, and JavaScript are the technologies used in this project.

HTML gives a page its content and structure. Thinking through the main sections helps me decide what a visitor should understand first and how the rest of the information follows.

  • CSS controls the presentation of that structure. In my frontend practice, I pay attention to readable content, consistent interface details, and layouts that adapt across screen sizes.
  • JavaScript adds behavior to the interface. I use it as part of my web foundations, keeping the interaction connected to the purpose of the page.
  • The live Sweet 17 website is available at valleriesweet17.netlify.app. The visual assets retained in this portfolio are template references, not screenshots of the project.
  • I am continuing to develop these foundations through practical work. These notes do not claim advanced graphics expertise or professional certifications.
